Gorleston Beach Views
Oct & Nov 2008
The year 2008 was a year of beach building which could only be good news for the protection of the Sea Wall.
Marram Grass has grown in profusion on the southern beach and is spreading. The effect is to bind sand in front of the sea wall and consequently protect the wall from being undermined.
Sand is also "marching" steadily up the ramps which form points of entry to the beach.
